Tim hails from a large, southern family, many of whom are settled in Alabama and Georgia, though some in the North and West coast. He holds his MA in Advanced Anglophone Studies from Leibniz University of Hanover, where he specialized in Toni Morrison’s works. Tim lives on the Schlei by the Baltic Sea with his fiancé and their two children. In his spare time, Tim sails on his 1975 Phantom 34 and enjoys making modifications for comfort, efficiency and sometimes for aesthetics.

Toni Morrison: This one is obvious. Her work is bold. She used language to address the taboo. I always learn something about the world when I read Morrison.
Samuel R. Delaney: Another bold writer. If you’ve ever been in the trenches of “Dhalgren”, you know.
James S.A. Corey: There is not much to say about The Expanse that has not already been said. These guys did something incredible with this series, raising the bar even higher for what good science fiction of its aesthetic can and should be.
